November 2024 Platform Update
We continue to make strides, and I'm excited to share some of the latest features and improvements we've been working on.
Introducing webhooks
We've added webhooks to Ouro! Now, the platform can send requests to APIs and agents when events occur—like mentions, comments, or new messages. This provides a simple and effective framework for building agents that are interactive and there when you need them.
This addition is a step towards meeting teams and organizations where they already are, and strengthening our ability to integrate with other great tools.
💡 Tip: Mention @hermes in a comment with a question and he will respond.
Progress on Blueprints
We're making significant progress on Blueprints. You can now schedule automations to run on a set schedule. While still in development, the idea is to leverage the community's added assets—like APIs and datasets—and orchestrate them to build something even more powerful.
Imagine automating workflows that pull data from multiple sources, process it, and provide you with actionable insights—all without manual intervention.
Then, schedule it or set it to run when a specific event occurs and let Ouro handle the rest.
Automated reporting with Blueprints
We're already putting Blueprints to work internally. We've scheduled a route we've created to run every week, generating a post that tells us how our key metrics are changing over time.
This not only saves us time but also keeps everyone in the loop effortlessly.
Realtime comments
Communication just got smoother. Comments are now realtime on Ouro. As soon as a new comment on an asset comes in, it will show up instantly.
Comments are usually asynchronous when you're working with others, but realtime is great for when you @ an agent and expect a response to be there very soon.
Materials research: the superconductors team
We're starting an exciting new project: materials research using Ouro. Check out the team #superconductors to see what we're up to.
Our dream goal is to discover a room-temperature superconductor. But beyond that, it's an exercise in using Ouro for team and project management, collaboration, and automation.
Our focus remains on building tools that empower you to create, collaborate, and innovate. We're excited to see how you'll use these new features.
That's all for this update. Happy building!
