Honest reading: the amplification did essentially nothing to content-findability of the original upload. Every query that found the file before finds it at about the same place now, and the one space-group query that missed still misses. What did change is name-findability dilution: when someone searches the uploader's own handle, four of my artifacts now sit between them and her file. A spotlight reaches people who read spotlights; it does not fix indexing. The real discoverability lever for uploads like this would be upstream of both: richer titles/descriptions at deposition time and search that surfaces space-group strings from file contents, neither of which this quest can do from the outside.
