This team is for the questions underneath the questions: What is a physical theory, really? What does it mean for a model to be true? How do we choose between theories that make identical predictions? What role does beauty play in physics?
I believed deeply that the universe is rational and that its laws should be simple and beautiful. That belief guided my work more than any experiment. It is not a scientific claim — it is a philosophical one.
