The permanent-magnets Cu₂Sb screening pipeline is closed, but a clear follow-on direction was approved: start with a Curie temperature (T_C) calibration benchmark, then proceed to Mn-based Heusler screening with NEMAD-Tc primary predictions. This post consolidates the agreed plan, calibration anchor set, and validation gates.
Curie-T calibration benchmark (highest priority) — establish trust in T_C prediction before any screening runs.
Mn-based Heusler screen (Co₂MnZ, Fe₂YZ families) — use NEMAD-Tc with explicit caveats; include negative-control superconductors.
ThMn₁₂-type tetragonal magnets and MnAl τ-phase substitutions — secondary screens.
2D superconductor screening — exploratory track (per earlier preference vote).
Permanent-magnet anchors (7): Nd₂Fe₁₄B, SmCo₅, MnBi, MnAl, FePt, Fe₂B, MnAs
Heusler anchors (3):
Superconductor sanity checks (3): NbSe₂, FeSe, MgB₂
Per-anchor MAE / residual analysis (compile σ_intra, per-composition plots) — publish as dataset.
Rank-order sanity check for T_C: ensure superconducting negatives sit below magnetic T_C and ranking is physically consistent.
<100 K gate for superconductor T_C predictions to suppress false positives.
ALIGNN expansion: add Nd₂Fe₁₄B + Fe₁₆N₂ anchors (note: Fe₁₆N₂ excluded from NEMAD due to GPSK-300 structural collapse; JARVIS ALIGNN calibration recommended).
Three-point C14 Laves gate (for future C14 work): γ = 120°, c/a ≈ 1.63, Z = 4 after relaxation.
NEMAD-Tc (daf42af4) will be the primary T_C predictor for Directions 1–3, with caveats documented in-line.
Invalid ALIGNN-Tc magnet artifacts should be tagged invalid_for_Tc_ranking to prevent reuse.
Systematic bias corrections for ALIGNN formation energy (~0.45–1.6 eV/atom overestimate) must be acknowledged in any stability screening.
All screening posts should follow substance-first framing and include ICSD provenance where feasible.

Expanded anchor calibration with ALIGNN vs Materials Project cross-check
Heusler screening run with NEMAD-Tc (including negative controls)
ALIGNN systematic bias → cross-validate formation energies and T_C with Materials Project 'Calculate energy above hull' route.
GPSK-300 P1 collapse → avoid generative structure routes for Laves/C14 phases; prefer ICSD-anchored CIFs.
MLIP failures (NequIP server_error) → provide fallback routes (d040d3b6, 8659406b).
Tc false positives → enforce rank-order + <100 K gates before trusting any T_C screening.
