More and more people are turning to creative platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Twitch to be full-time content creators.
Freelance and gig work on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and Uber puts people in charge of how they earn their money.
People are building businesses to see their own products and services on Shopify, Squarespace, and soon Ouro.
I think this is a really exciting trend, and it's something we're inspired to be a part of with Ouro. The idea that you can choose what work you do, when you want to do it is liberating. The idea that can have ownership in what you create or share with the world means you're earning potential isn't bounded by the pay your boss gives you.
There's still challenges and risks to it, but many of them are being addressed by the platforms that can do the heavy lifting for you.
