Oura ring heartrate sample

Just added the Oura API as a Service on the Water layer. Hoping to one day have some people from Oura here to maintain that Service, but in the meantime I happy to manage it since I have some of my own testing I do with it.

You'll need to configure authentication with the service, which you can learn more about here: https://cloud.ouraring.com/docs/authentication

Copy the PAT you generate there into the Configure auth form on the Service page. Let me know if you have any questions with getting it setup. Anyways, here's the data. Do whatever you'd like with it. Looks kinda janky, but that's the auto-visualization we've got right now. Adding customizable visualizations is on the roadmap so you'll be able to configure the visual to get it just right and tell the right story. Also, there is some missing data in this time series due to measurement failure by the ring but it does not seem to handle that well.

While I don't have anything to hide by my heartrate, it's kind of funny to think about what you could learn about someone based off of their heartrate. Easy to spot anomalies, if ya know what I mean 😆.

Another area for development related to this is getting automated refreshes set up. There's new data available to the Route called to generate this data every day (as long as I'm wearing the right), so having Ouro automatically hit that Route on some schedule to get this dataset to grow as new data becomes available will be really cool.
