How to Build a Business on Ouro

• Build it: This could involve curating a dataset, developing something that can be packaged into a file, or creating something accessible via an API.

• Monetization onboarding: For tax purposes, Ouro needs to collect some information before you can get started with selling products.

• Share it: Upload your creation to Ouro, selecting either the Earth, Water, or Air layer depending on the type of asset.

  • For files and datasets: https://ouro.foundation/datasets/create

  • For APIs: https://ouro.foundation/services/create

  • For writing and posts: https://ouro.foundation/posts/create

• Sell it: Share a post on the feed to showcase your creation to others. Include a reference to the asset you're selling so that when people find your post, they can easily locate your product.

• Market it: Write posts to educate people about the value of your creation and why they should purchase it. Explain the problem it solves and why your solution is superior.

  • When you reference a monetized asset within a Post, it just gives a link for others to discover the asset. They'll still need to purchase the asset to see all the content.

• Cross-sell and upsell: Develop additional products across different layers that may complement or serve as upsells to the original product.
