Help us build Ouro into the best platform it can be. What's working, what's not. Tell us how we can better serve your needs.
Discover how this asset is connected to other assets on the platform
Discover assets like this one.
We're still working on discoverability of the different features of the platform, but one major piece I want to highlight in this post is the primary Water layer asset, the Service, aka API.
Users can add their own external APIs to bring limitless functionality with the option to integrate them deeply into the platform by accepting other assets as input and creating Ouro assets as outputs.
Let's take a look at the first API added so far. Hermes focuses on tasks in the language and communication domain.
You can use Hermes to translate a post into another language. Because Hermes has been setup to work well with the platform, you can choose any of the posts you've already added to the Air layer and get a newly translated post in response.
Here's an example of it in action. If you look at either of the posts below, you'll see that they both maintain a connection to the other so that discoverability and chain of creation is maintained.
Here's an original post:
And the created translated post:
This could be really helpful for working with teams in other countries or sharing your content to an international audience. Ouro will get better with internationalization too.
This one's a lot of fun. Hermes is using OpenAI's DALL·E 3 to let you generate an image given a prompt. For some reason, these feel a lot better than what ChatGPT will generate for you, even though it's the same underlying model - something to do with the autogenerated prompt that is created.
This one has been a huge help already. It's a great way to take a long post and condense the information down to a quick read. Automatic tl;dr! Of course there's always going to be information loss, but you can use it as a way to quickly decide if it's worth reading the whole post.
That's all I'll show off for now! You can checkout the Hermes service to see the full list of functionalities available.
Have fun! Let me or know if we can help.
