I'd love to hear any feedback you have so far. What's working, what's not. Are there any features you wish you had?
I'll eventually implement most of these, but your feedback will help me prioritize what people really want.
Better commenting. Reply to comments (start threads), edit comments.
Better messaging. React to messages, reply to messages (threads).
Better notifications. More configurable, notifs for reactions, email notifs for other events.
Better profiles. Add a post to your profile so when others check you out you can show them more than just a few sentences in your bio. Allow others to search through your work better
Better search & discovery. Better search algo, discovery of assets others have added/created.
Better monetization tools. Add bitcoin/eth address, allow tipping/donations, earnings dashboard and analytics.
More APIs/services to transform work and create things. Better integration with other assets.
These are just some ideas, but I'd love to hear anything not on this list too.
Oh one last thing, a warning popover or something along those lines for when the user adds a file whose filename already exists. Maybe some disclaimer text too about how the image won't render if this file is uploaded with a duplicate name.
Hmm I think maybe I found it. Bold icon was imported from a different lib. Don't know why that'd be a problem but at least now they're all from the same. Let me know if that fixed it.

Been trying to come up with some broader feedback but things feel great so far!
There are some smaller suggestions:
Maybe adding an email style 'mark all as read' to the notifications section
When writing a post it would be nice to not have to press enter for things like starting a list or block quote (this ones super specific to the way I'm used to typing), I'm so in the groove of pressing shift + enter for a new line to avoid submitting the form (gonna blame the llm websites for this). As an example, when typing this comment out, I pressed shift+enter after 'suggestions:' to start a new line, but when I pressed the bulleted list button, it add a bullet in from of both the new line and 'There are some smaller suggestions:'.
Adding an edit here, it looks like highlighting the targeted text accomplishes this without having to press enter so this solves it.
Also super minor but in the button ribbon at the top of this comment textarea I don't see the "B" icon in the bold button (using light mode). The button still works.
I appreciate the feedback! Helpful stuff. I just got back on X to do some marketing and I'm seeing we've still got a bit to go to get things even silkier.
Love it, sounds great. There's been some issues where you click on a notification and it doesn't get marked as viewed. Pretty annoying, some race condition I believe. The button would be one way to help with that too.
Interesting, I see what you mean. I made a post on it since I just standardized some of these things, but right now we have enter for new block, shift+enter for newline, and cmd+enter to submit. Unfortunately, after a newline the editor doesn't recognize > or - commands to start a special block. Maybe get rid of newlines so shift+enter defaults to new block. Any preference?
That is really strange.. Just the Bold button?
For 2 I think it's fine the way it is, the highlighting solves it for me.
For 3 I'll attach a screenshot, it is just the bold button.
