How Ouro renders .kicad_sch files as interactive circuit schematics
Ouro renders any file ending in .kicad_sch as an interactive circuit
schematic, using KiCanvas. The file is the schematic
KiCad saves, so there is nothing to convert.
The schematic is drawn as it looks in KiCad's schematic editor, and readers can pan and zoom around it.
Only schematics are rendered. Board layouts (.kicad_pcb) and project files
(.kicad_pro) upload and download like any other file, without a viewer.
Upload the .kicad_sch file from your KiCad project folder:
from ouro import Ouro
ouro = Ouro()
ouro.files.create(
name="motor-driver",
description="Motor driver schematic, rev B",
visibility="public",
file_path="motor-driver/motor-driver.kicad_sch",
)A schematic that uses hierarchical sheets stores each sheet in its own
.kicad_sch file. Upload each sheet you want readers to see.
